Dear Franc Perdih,

Thank you for your comments.
The revisions are listed below.

Reviewer B:
1.	We are so sorry to not give another example and its reference like this reaction. But, we think it must be broken for the Co-O coordination bond, and formation of
HL2 before the formation of complex (2).
2.	Some references in recent 5 years are given.
3.	We have compared our complexes to other bioactive cobalt
complexes of Schiff bases.
4.	The numbers of the complexes in the paper have been corrected as bold style.
5.	Title: The activity of cobalt(II) complexes in the title is replaced by activities of two cobalt(II) complexes.
6.	Line 18, each Co atom in the complexes adopts octahedral
coordination. Corrected as: The Co atom in complex (1) adopts octahedral coordination, and that in complex (2) adopts tetrahedral coordination.
7.	Line 20the activity in the last sentence of Abstact has been
replaced by activities.
8.	Line 28, a noun 'property' has been added at the end of the sentence ofsuch as
antifungal, antibacterial and antitumor.
9.	Line 49, the grammatical problem has been corrected.
10.	Line 53 and 64, there is no melting points for complexes 1 and 2, so we give the decomposition points.
11.	Line 89, The results of the elemental analyses are in accord with the
composition suggested for the complexes. In this senctence,
composition suggested for the complexes has been replaced by
calculated composition of these complexes.
12.	Line 149, viewed along the b axis, has been corrected as 'viewed along the a axis'.

------------------------------------------------------
Reviewer C:

1.	The English grammar has been checked.
2.	The antimicrobial activity was determined by a third affiliation. They determined antimicrobial activities of
various compounds to screen new drugs. Acoording to the contract, they did not give us the photos of the
antimicrobial activity disks, but only data. The data of complex (1) has been re-refined to decrease the R factor.
The 18 restraints in (1) are commented. There is now one B alert in the checkcif file of (1), which might be caused by the
poor diffraction quality of the crysta. Crystal data of (2) was re-refined to eliminate the three alert B problems.
3.	The crystallographic discussion is improved.
4.	Preparation of (1) C it should be 'dissolved' instead of 'diluted' for HL1.
5.	Abstract, line 18-19: Co atom in (1) is octahedral and in (2)
tetrahedral, corrected.
6. Reference 1 has been corrected.

------------------------------------------------------
Reviewer D:

Line 16: "single crystal X-ray crystallographic determination" has been
changed to "single-crystal X-ray diffraction"

Introduction: Some novel and related references have been introduced.

Page 2: Elemental analysis data for C and H have been given on decimal
digits.

Lines 70-79: The diffractometer and wave length are given. The data on wave
length in table 1 was removed.

Table 1: data on theta range and index range are removed.

Pages 5-7: some additional structural comparison with closely related
compounds has been given.

Conclusion: corrected.
